Danai Gurira est une actrice américaine, née le 14 février 1978 à Grinnell dans l'Iowa. Elle est révélée, au grand public, grâce à son interprétation du personnage Michonne dans la série télévisée à succès The Walking Dead depuis 2012.
Forte d'une nouvelle notoriété, elle perce au cinéma et joue dans des longs métrages tels que All Eyez on Me .
